December 9, 2000 - Saturday
Harry went to another holiday party tonight, but this one started earlier in the evening and he stayed awake for the entire affair. There were actually a few other children at the party, but the closest to Harry's age was a girl of seven month who couldn't yet crawl. Harry did spend some time looking, pointing, and touching, but she spent her time in her mother's arms and Harry has become less interested in staying still. Most of other kids at the party were much older and off in another room with a TV and toys. It didn't matter though, Harry seemed to be enjoying himself well into the evening and was the life of our little section of the party. He made it to just about 9:00pm in very good spirits, but inevitably suffered a meltdown triggered by a minor accident pushing around an empty box. It was time to go home.
