We've found a great use for Harry's inherent interest in "taking things out." He now likes to take things out of the dishwasher and will regularly hand them to us if we're there and ready. The trouble is if we're not ready: Harry is likely to just go on to the next object anyway. Fortunately, this has never happened with anything from the dishwasher other than a spoon and glassware usually goes in the top section of the dishwasher, which is still out of his reach.

While it wasn't with the dishwasher, a few weeks ago Harry did "help" unpack" one glass from a box still left over from the move this past summer. I was not ready.
