November 22, 2000 - Wednesday
It was a big family day for Harry. His grandfather arrived last night after a three-hour flight delay and, therefore, disappointedly after Harry had gone to bed. It's been four months since Harry saw his mother's father - almost half his life - and she's been showing him pictures in hopes that he might remember grandpa. Whether that helped or not is hard to say, but Harry had no anxiety about seeing him, especially when grandpa started playing with him right away.

But, the arrival of Harry's grandfather was just part of the day's excitement. Harry doesn't understand it yet, but grandpa's other daughter, Harry's aunt, arrived baring news of another future cousin next June.
