Yesterday afternoon I showed Jeremy a little side table/cupboard that I bought at an antique store for his mother and my 15th wedding anniversary (actually, I bought something else for our anniversary at the same antique store but thought this would go nicely in our kitchen near the phone and bought it, too). The thing is that I was sure I could trust Jeremy to not say anything about it. And more than that, I actually wanted to see if he thought it looked nice. I'm increasingly impressed by his design taste. He said he liked it, but then, he's only four. I put it in the kitchen this morning while he was eating so he could watch his mother see it for the first time. It took her a couple of minutes to notice it. He didn't say anything and just kept on eating until she did. Fortunately, Harry was upstairs at the time.
