October 2, 2000 - Monday
One of the things we most appreciate about Harry new daycare provider is that she is very flexible. She has even offered to watch Harry for an occasional evening at a very reasonable rate and tonight we took advantage of that service. Harry's mother and I have been in the habit of attending a monthly series of Monday night concerts and tonight was the first such concert of the new season. Since Harry's daycare is conveniently on the way to and from the concert hall, evening daycare proved to be very helpful. I picked Harry up at his usual time in the afternoon and he, his mother, and I all had dinner with some friends who would also attend the concert. Then, on the way to the hall, we left Harry at his daycare and went to a very enjoyable concert. Harry? He went to sleep.

We were not able to make an appointment for Harry's ear trouble until tomorrow and even then, Harry's regular doctor won't be able to see him. Fortunately, the office didn't seem to be too concern either about seeing his ear right away based on our explanation of the situation. Hopefully, it is not serious.
