December 22, 2003 - Monday
I've asked Jeremy a couple of times over the last couple of weeks whether he'd like it if I took the side off his crib. He's said, "no," so far. But, this afternoon when I was getting him up from his nap he smiled and said he wanted me to do it. He was home for his nap this afternoon and there was a little time before I needed to go get Harry at school, so it seemed like a nice, exciting way to spend the time. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten that his mother and I were going out tonight and that gramma and grampa would be putting him to bed. Apparently he was not so happy about it at bedtime, but when we got home, he was sound asleep, with his animal friends protecting him from the floor.
