July 9, 2000 - Sunday
It's been a busy weekend around the new house with relatives - Harry's grandfather,
aunt and uncle - and unfortunately
Harry's been a little cranky. It's been a little cold during the nights and,
whether that's the reason or not, Harry hasn't slept terribly well. Yet, with
all the extra hands around, Harry's been kept fairly well occupied and his
bonus moodiness has been kept in check.
This evening the six of us all went out to dinner at a suitable family restaurant
- Red Lobster - and Harry's somewhat uncharacteristic noisiness was adequately
drowned out by the overall din of the environment. We actually fed Harry in
a highchair at the restaurant, which worked just fine except Harry seemed
more interested in his surroundings than the spinach we were introducing to
his diet. An aside on the spinach is that it seemed to take him several spoonfuls
before he stopped making his new food face.
