There's a fourth
new talent Harry has lately picked up that makes his mother smile with
pride: he's started clapping his hands. He doesn't make very much noise yet,
but he does match it with the appropriately gleeful grin and that makes all
the different in presentation. Admittedly, he doesn't clapped and squealed
with delight, but that might well be over the edge on 'precious.' As it is,
Harry's latest trick already ranks high on the cute scale of little things
that babies do delight parents.
While we have yet to capture his new feat on 'film,' Harry does have just
the one clapping position so far. There's no subtle 'hands down in his lap'
nor 'one hand over the other,' just the classic 'two hands vertically parallel,
in front of his chest. It's the method all babies use, and you've undoubtedly
seen other babies do it before, but none have been as charming as Harry.
