Harry is a toddler now. His walking
ability has improved strikingly over the last two weeks. He uses his knees
now and doesn't need to hold his arms out for balance very much any more.
And, just in the last few days, he's essentially stopped crawling.
This balloon is from a belated birthday party for Harry at his daycare two
days ago. He likes to walk around the house with it with a toddler's grin.
I've tried to show him how to pull it down by putting one over the other,
but that's apparently a bit complicated. I often wonder whether helium's antigravity
effect is hard for a little boy to understand, but ultimately decide it just
gets added to the list of things he'll learn in the future.
