October 6, 2001 - Saturday
This morning before just before 7am, we started out for our annual Columbus Day weekend visit to the cabin in the woods. It's usually a wonderful weekend with lots of people, games, some music, the big fireplace, and our true start to autumn. Last year, Harry was the first next-generation person to join a mostly 30-something group and there were no overt complaints. This year, however, Harry will be joined by three other babies: his cousin Ben, his cousin Chloe, and Nicole, the daughter of two friends who have been coming up for this weekend for more than ten years. Of course, just one little boy and a puddle go a long way.
