I built most of this ring of stones for a sandbox in the spring and Harry's been very patient about seeing it filled with sand. Although, lately, he's started to asked seemingly innocent questions like "why did we build this sandbox?" and "are we going to put sand in it?" Finally, today was the day. Grandpa has been working on this one-time rusted old bottomless trailer for about a month, fixing, painting, replacing wheels and hubs, and more. Today he and grandma brought it over and, on the spur of the moment, we took it and the boys to a nearby gravel yard for sand. We keep asking the boys to stand clear while we were dumping, and they did a pretty good job. But, it got increasingly more difficult to wait.
