With Harry moving around
more these days, he likes being confined less. Specifically, almost every
time we put him in the car seat or his dinner chair, he complains. Sometimes,
indeed most of the time, the complaint is mercifully short, although there
are those occasions when he's more insistent.
With the dinner seat, his greater awareness of his surrounding is only tipping
him off to the fact that we're serving him mush and he doesn't like it anymore.
Harry definitely wants to be an active participant in his eating, but it's
more than that. The little Zweibach toasts are starting to bore him as well.
We've taken to feeding him some of the streamed vegetables we're eating and
some of the pasta as well. We've actually tried quite a few things, all of
which are un-buttered or salted, of course, and cooled to a reasonable temperature.
He still goes to town on corn cobs, though.
