Although Harry took his
first step more than a month ago, it was more than a week and a half later
that he really started taking four or
five steps in a row. And, he's just now getting the hang of it - shown
here in the process of walking the length of the kitchen. He still generally
walks like Frankenstein with his arms out front, teetering a little side to
side, but he's able to turn corners and cover ground. While there are certainly
magical moments and milestones to be reached, most learning is definitely
a longer process of slower discovery and practice.
