Harry's starting to be able to hold his head up. Talk about ridiculous achievements
in parenting. Harry's right on schedule with this particular physical ability,
but to his mother and me it feels like he's a prodigy. We've had no experience
with other babies, but somehow since Harry's just figuring this out, it feels
like it's the first time it's even happened to any baby. We're so proud.
My memory is good enough to know that this is one of those things that seems
so typical of new parents and so alien to non-parents. Therefore, I'm committed
to not boring our childless friends with this anecdote in public. However, if
you happen to fit that category and are curious to know more about Harry's monumental
progress, just let me know. I'll be happy to fill you in on all the details
because it sure is fun, as well as fulfilling, to watch.
