A week ago Friday, Harry's daycare
provider remarked how he had been continuously walking behind and pushing
a toy cart back and forth along a paved path in her yard. He was practicing
walking with great apparent satisfaction and, with yesterday's
breakthrough, it seems his diligence paid off. The cardboard box shown
here may not have been intended for the same purpose, but its glossy coating
combined with our smooth wood floors was enough for Harry to use it that way
and he went at with similar vigor. He took seemingly endless turns about our
kitchen for longer than it took for my back to get sore leaning over to redirect
him around the corners and to take this action shot after his mother took
over the navigation.
