If there were any doubts about whether Jeremy was actually
smiling, those doubts are gone now and he's turning into a happy boy.
What's more, where Harry seemed to smile at me before he smiled at his mother,
Jeremy has done just the opposite, smiling here and often for mommy.
Jeremy is also doing better sleeping, just not on such a convenient schedule
as Harry did when he was an infant. About this time, Harry was sleeping 5.5-6
hours at night from a rather sensible 11:30pm to a tolerable 5:30am. Jeremy
goes to sleep before 10:00pm and does well if he sleeps until 3:30. He'll
go back to sleep and so will we, but that really seems to break up the night.
And, when Jeremy wakes up he often makes these loud grunting noises that are
impossible to ignore. On the other hand, after waking again at 5:00 or 5:30am,
Jeremy often sleeps until 7:30 or 8:00am, thus allowing us the time with Harry
in the morning before daycare and that may be a far trade.
