Thanks I'm sure to the older kids at daycare, Harry's
high-5 has made a reemergence, except this time
it has a new twist. Harry will raise his hand, usually during the later half
of dinner when his mind is starting to wander, and call out "high-5."
(It sounds more like "hi-fi.") Then, before his mother or I can
react by giving him a high-5, he'll swing his arm down beside his chair and
say "da-lo," or down low. Of course, since he thinks it's very cool,
he'll repeat this little episode several times, often truncating it to just
be "da-lo, da-lo, da-lo" several times since that's the new and
fun part.
