I think that every toddler goes through this stage, but Harry is now perfecting "bye" and is very pleased about it. He says "bye" to his mother when she leaves in the morning. He says "bye" to his daycare provider when he leaves in the afternoon. But, Harry also says "bye" to the cat, or to a room when we walk out. He says "bye" to his blanket when he gets up in the morning. And, he once said "bye" to his pee-pee as I put it inside a new diaper.
