We took the boys out to an Indian restaurant tonight for the first time. Actually, save Tex-Mex food, this is really the first ethic restaurant the boys have been to and it was daring to be sure. May 5th is a special day for us, our anniversary before we were married and we were thinking of just going to go to a local bar and grill type place, but then I remembered a sign for a new Indian restaurant. What the heck, we thought, maybe the boys will be interested in the "other place" cultural aspect of Indian food, especially given Harry continuing interest in Japan following my Japan trip. And, things did go well in that way before the food came, but the food itself is just so different that really would have been remarkable if they had actually liked it. But, we'd figured that the different kinds of bread would probably give them something to eat and that was true. What's more, they loved the mango lassies and with the yogust in there they're reasonably healthy. We'll probably not bring them back right away, but at least they tried things.
