Jeremy was standing in the back hall this morning, waiting for us to pack up the car for a trip to the beach cottage, singing, unselfconsciously. Harry rarely did that (except make noise and garner attention), likely because Harry is more introspective than his little brother. Jeremy, however, just sings away in his charming, if stereotypical little toddler voice. His song is somewhat baffling, although it's something his mother says she's heard before. He sings, quite distinctly, "Because it's $2.99..." and then goes off into less discernible lyrics, sometimes repeating the "$2.99" part. Since he doesn't watch much TV at home and I usually have NPR on in the car, we can only imagine that there is some commercial he's seen at Mary's house that has something similar.
