Jeremy seems to be very conscientious about turning off this night light in the hall. He doesn't do it every day, but that's probably as much as anything because he's often later than Harry getting up and I usually run upstairs when he comes out of his room, get him into the bathroom and then dressed, and whisk him downstairs for breakfast. At night, it's often up the stairs, into the bath, in the bed. But, when he does ramble around up there, when he's running past this light and into Harry's room, there's a good chance he'll stop and turn it off if it's daytime. It's hard to know where he got this little habit, although I am the type to always turn off room lights when I leave a space. But still, that would usually be after his bedtime, wouldn't it?
