Harry likes the bath.
It's now a regular part of his evening ritual, though he has yet to figure
that it's part of his nighttime-go-to-sleep ritual. He'll stand up next to
the tub waiting for the water to fill his plastic baby tub, oblivious to our
undressing him and squawking and banging on the fiberglass with anticipation.
Once in, as was the case Monday when I gave him a bath, he'll splash continuously,
rarely taking a break to play with one of his floating bath letters and getting
the bath giver quite wet. His mother is usually the one, as was the case last
evening for these pictures, but I did it again tonight while she was on the
phone. Oddly, Harry was much more reserved, taking a more studious approach
to the water and its properties. He, nonetheless, voiced his protest at being
removed from this happy situation, either that or he's figuring what comes
next.
