Running with the
stroller is not the same as running without it. No surprise there, I suppose,
but my summer running routine seems as though it will be different this year.
Then, again, it's just one of many things that will be different.
It's impossible to know what Harry's thinking about as he rides in the stroller.
I'd like to think he's fascinated by all the world going by - all the new
scenes - but he hasn't shown much overt interest. He also, that I've seen,
hasn't shown much expression: no bright eyed terror, no openmouthed excitement
from zooming around. Maybe he's jaded by the speed of cars. I try to run ahead
of the stroller as much as I can, holding and pulling the emergency leash
attached to the back. Harry seems to pay no attention.
While the picture to the right is not an action shot of the stroller, it is
a fine example of something I noticed taking all
the pictures today of his new haircut: Harry
is a ham. He either understands that his picture is being taken or he just
likes the flash, because he smiled nearly every time I took a picture.
