Harry has started to bang his head
on things. I've read about this and it seems it's just another way for babies
to learn about the world and find there place in it. Hopefully, he'll soon
find that maybe it doesn't really feel so good or gain him anything and he'll
stop. Fortunately, he doesn't
seem to do it very hard and has never made himself cry from it, but he certainly
is stronger now and capable of lending some real momentum to the process if
he were to get carried any in a given moment. Similarly, we have
seen him grab the kiddy gate rails
that we've put up around the kitchen area and, with both hand securely attached
to one of the vertical posts, shake his whole body back and forth like the
stereotypical crazy gorilla in a cage. The gates have held so far, but one
of these times they probably won't against Harry's increasing mass and will
offer Harry yet another world lesson.
