Although Harry doesn't regularly spend mornings at the lab anymore, I still bring him here a couple of times a week during our hour together before daycare. I suppose now that it's getting colder and the parks won't be so inviting, we may end up coming more than that. And, now that Harry is in a highly tactile phase, one of his favorite amusements is a rack-mounted S-VHS deck. He's particularly fond of the jog/shuttle knob because it's the perfect size for his little hand to grasp and turn, but he also enjoys all of the various buttons that he can push and poke. Unfortunately, none of the buttons do anything when the deck is off, but Harry doesn't really seem to mind that yet. I did try turning it on once for him, but decided that would only increased the possibility of random trouble. It is, after all, not an inexpensive toy.
