I kind of wondered when this would start. For the last week or two, I'd say,
Harry has been asking both his mother and me for things he wants. More precisely,
he will ask one of us and then, if he gets an unsatisfactory response, will
go ask the other the same question. It's stereotypical parenting stuff, of
course, and easy enough to understand. I think so far we've been quite consistent
in our responses. After all, the requests from a 3-year-old aren't all that
complex, really. Perhaps it's good that it starts so early. This way, his
mother and I can practice getting our stories right for when he's older and
the questions are trickier, but somehow I'm betting it's not that easy.
