Sure enough. Harry is sitting outside on the steps and notices some small areas of chipping paint on the clapboards of our house. "I want to go to the hardware store [right away] and get some paint."
"Oh, we'll do that Harry, but we don't have to do it right away. I need to get a ladder first."
He seemed to accept my lack of urgency.
"I want to paint our house pink."
Oh, great, I think to myself.
