How do you have a Thanksgiving dinner with two young children? You don't,
really. We tried that last year and we spent all our time monitoring the boys
and very little time enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner with the family. This
year Aunt Alison originally wanted to serve dinner at 2:00 p.m., a pretty
normal time following holiday appetizers.for people without children. Or,
on second thought, it's a pretty good time for people with children who still
take naps. Harry, Jeremy, and Chloe had a little lunch. Jeremy didn't even
have any turkey. And, following a morning playing outside and in Alison's
wonderfully large basement, they all took a nap while we ate Thanksgiving
dinner.
