This morning, Jeremy seemed only mildly improved, if at all, so mommy took him to his regular doctor as suggested. He basically concurred that the swelling was most likely not an infection, but wrote a prescription that we could fill tomorrow if things didn't get better by then. He figured we probably never would fill it and that the problem would go away soon enough. And, sure enough, by evening it was noticeably better. It remains a mystery what happened, but I suppose if it were any other part of the body a quick coming and going away of redness and swelling would be soon forgotten.
