Autonomy. I had work to finish inside, as did their mother, and the boys wanted to play outside. So, they did and by themselves in this leaf pile for more than a hour.This happens a lot more often now, the boys being brothers and playing together withoutadult supervision. In fact, we can even see the early days of eschewing parental supervision. Still, it's liberating for their parents, especially when we have other things to do.
