"Red, my favorite color," Harry said this morning as I was getting breakfast ready and pulled out a red glass.
"Red?" I asked, "what about pink? I thought you liked pink."
"Yeah, I like pink, too. Pink and Red. Those are my two favorite colors."

But I've heard Harry say "red" before, although not quite so directly. I've also heard him say in passing that pink is a "girl" color. It was bound to happen, of course, that he'd start hearing that from kids at school. I'm just glad it happened before we built a play house and painted it pink. Otherwise, he'd be hearing it a little more directly from the kids at school.
