This is what Harry does know about the Red Sox. I was watching the championship celebration all morning on TV, including the parade and several highlights from the season and the World Series. At one point a little before lunch the boys were playing in the living room with a soft, foam baseball. They were giggling wildly and their mother walked just as Harry threw the ball and it hit Jeremy in the forehead.

"What are you boys doing?" she asked.
"We're playing silly Red Sox," said Harry. She could only laugh.

"Jeremy," Harry said after his mother had turned away, "if we win the World Series we get to hug."
