What a happy day for Jeremy! I took the boys to the local playground and who should we meant there but Julia, her older sister Sabrina (who happens to be in Harry's class at school), and their mother. Sabrina saw Harry coming first and called out to him, but there was Jeremy's friend Julia, too, calling out his name.

Jeremy's still been talking about Julia as though they were best friends, even though there's still no evidence that they ever play together. For example, last time Harry went to Aidan's house to play, Jeremy asked when he could invent Julia over to our house for a play date. Over the last couple of weeks I've had a couple of conversations with Julia's mother about the idea of Julia and possibly Sabrina coming over for a play date. However, things hadn't really gotten very far ever and nothing was ever set. Sabrina seemed to express more interest than Julia although that's probably because she's more of a play date age. But, there was Julia at the playground and I'll be darned if there wasn't a little twinkle in Jeremy's eye.
