For the last couple of days since we ate and used the restroom at the 99s, although not today, Harry has been peeing standing up. He insisted on doing it when I took him to the bathroom there and I thought maybe there'd been some shift away from his usual sitting down approach. I asked why he was changing and he basically said just that he wanted to. I tried to coax a little more out by asking if he'd been seeing some of his friends doing it standing up, although I've been careful not to be too obvious about straight out calling it the masculine way to do it. Of course, he went right along with it and agreed that he'd seen his friends and that he wanted it to do it that way. But, now that he's gone back to sitting I'm realizing that he probably was just playing me. He said something that now makes me think he was standing up in the restaurant because he doesn't like the loud flush of those commerical toilets and that standing up makes it easier and quicker to get away and let me flush it.
