This is Jeremy's spring semester evaluation from school. It was similar in many ways to his evaluation for last fall, but with comfortable improvements in the areas in which he seemed lacking. As with the last one, Jeremy is listed as age-appropriate for the entire Developmental Age Profile top section and received very similar comments. There were a few differences in the lower Learning Profile section. First, he is still listed as "Developing" under Makes Needs & Desires known, but that's an improvement from last fall. It's a result of his innate shyness, as is the mark half way between Developing and Age-Appropriate for Participates in conversations and that's slightly up from "Developing." Caring for his personal needs is now listed as "Age-appropriate," but I took the lower mark last fall as a direct result of his early accidents over the first couple of months. Jeremy got an above average score again for Participates in Art, and "eager participant," and unlike last fall got an above average mark for "Attends in Groups," with the comment "very attentive." Jeremy's always been a very easy going boy at home, and Mary is constantly saying how easy he is. Being attentive is not something that I've thought of specifically, but it doesn't surprise me. His easiness is both a function of self-sufficiency and a result of being aware, attentive, and trusted in his surroundings.
