We've been listening to a lot more music in the car lately and Jeremy has consistently been asking "does this song have a cello?" He still likes his cello very much and I've started playing his Suzuki cello CD at bedtime as he's falling asleep. My habit in the car, however, is to listen to more popular music and so I'm finding myself sheepishly telling him "no, I don't think this one has a cello." That's particularly awkward because I'm often talking to Harry about the drums in songs on the radio. "Harry, listen to this drumming," "Harry, do you hear the drums," etc. Sometimes pop songs have string sections. Sometimes I switch to a classical station.
Sweetly, Jeremy will often ask to hear something with cello and drums.
