I was thrilled to find this in Jeremy cubby at school this afternoon. Very much like when Harry surprised us by having written his name at school, I had no idea Jeremy really even new the letters of his name, never mind being able to write them. I've seen him make a "J," but he's never come close to doing more than that. Even when he writes his name on the computer, he seems to have trouble remembering what comes after "J" (we've been doing that sporatically for more than a year), although I often wonder whether his asking "what comes next?" is just interaction with dad or a bedtime delay. Interestingly, although I've always said this sort of stuff doesn't matter and is more a curiosity than a sign of intelligence or any such thing, Harry was almost four when he first wrote his name. Jeremy is just three and a half.
