Our front yard was like this when we first bought this house. It doesn't happen every spring, but it does get like this from time to time, including warm winter periods like now when the snow melts quickly. The boys love going down here with their rain boots and playing with sticks in the water.

Although it's still seems tenuous letting the boys play near water without direct supervision, it was admittedly handy to have them our of the way while we were getting ready for our annual Super Bowl party. Since the boys have been to Pittsburgh a couple of times, including last summer, Harry was definitely rooting for the Steelers over the Seahawks and they were up 7-3 when he went to bed.
