This time things seemed to go a lot better when Rip came over to play with Harry and Jeremy while we went to the symphony with Rip's parents. We had planned to have Kelly back again, for the boys to get back in the proverbial saddle and all, but Kelly couldn't do it. So we got one of the young supervisors from the Moppet School, Miss Karley, to come instead. The boys all, including Rip, know Karley quite well and are used to listening to her, and presumable following her instructions. In fact, when I first asked Harry and Jeremy about having Rip back again with Kelly, they said they didn't want to. But they both said it would be better if Miss Karley came instead. "Miss Karley has more rules than Kelly," said Harry, surprising because Kelly was one of his favorite teachers. "Safe, Friendly, and Responsible," said Jeremy with charmingly dutiful earnestness.
