In the interest of full disclosure and keeping an accurate record, I'm reporting that Harry's excrement is changing. First of all, it's much more aromatic now that he's eating solid foods. In fact, now is when the Diaper Genie really begins to show its value. I've been in the habit of opening the Diaper Genie at the start of changings, just to be ready, but that policy will likely change in the interest of, well, less disclosure from within. In addition to new fragrances, it also is much harder work for little Harry. His mouth comes together, his face turns red, and - if we're holding him in a standing position which, coincidentally or not, often seems to be the case - he'll bend his knees slightly and lean a little forward for maximum efficiency. There's usually no question what's happening, but that makes for a quick diaper turnaround. Harry's production is still quite pasty, though now much thicker. Today it was even partly solid, but I understand on medical authority that will not be a regular occurrence for a while longer, at least not if we keep Harry properly hydrated now that it's getting to be summer.
