"Daddy." Harry's said that before, a year ago at this very industry event. He didn't say much more than that this time either at first, but his mother said he was smiling and I heard him gabbing in the background all she and I spoke. I asked that she give him another try. With a little coaching he talked about playing outside and that's more than he's talked before. His mother acknowledged that they had gone outside again after dinner, due to daylight savings time. He talked about throwing rocks into the stream, his current favorite pastime. Harry sounded a little strange on the phone at first. I guess it's been a long time since I heard it that way in a long time and the phone accentuated the high pitch of his voice.
