This is Harry's rock basket that sits just inside the main door to the back hallway of our house. The idea was that Harry, who regularly enters the house with rocks in his hands or coat pockets or both, could put the rocks here rather than bringing them into the rest of the house. Harry did not take well to the idea. He said he "wanted to keep them comfy." So, we initially said he could choose one rock to bring in at a time. That was short lived and now the rock basket is most often empty. Indeed, the rocks shown to the right are mostly posed for this picture having been found under various cushions or carefully placed atop pieces of furniture.
