For the last three nights I've been away from home on business, but calling each night. And, it's remarkable the progress Harry has made over just the last two months since I was last away.
I hear him in the back ground three times saying,"Say hi to daddy," and each time his mother hands him the phone and we exchange actual sentence in literal conversation. The third time I tell Harry "goodnight" and tell him that I'll see him in the morning. It's part of our nightly routine. Then I say, "and there's something else that's very important to tell you, do you know what it is?"
Harry knows the routine,"love you very much," he says.
I say it back to him.
Indeed.
