For a couple of weeks now, Jeremy has been able to count very clearly to two.
It's also been very clear that he knows he's counting two differnet objects,
although for some reason he doesn't seem to go any further than two, often
repeating one, two, one, two, one two to show that he is counting. It's probably
just a vocabulary thing, (Harry was 20 months old
when he counted to six)and not
knowing how to articulate "three," "four," etc. and the
excitement about showing that he's really counting.
