For almost the entire hour or so that the boys were awake this morning before
we left for school they were both referring to themselves as the fireguys.
Jeremy's done that before, but
I've never seen or heard of Harry doing it, too. Of course, one sibling does
something and there's a fair chance that the other one will pick it up at
some point. The curious thing about Harry calling himself "fireguy"
is that he was doing it more clearly in the third person, using the pronouns
"he" and "them" instead of "I" and "we."
Given Harry's more advanced use of language it seems that the game is less
"call me Fireguy" and more "imagine I'm someone else."
I'm not really sure what to make of that, but somehow it's surprising.
