January 30, 2004 - Friday
Sure enough, Harry is just about done
with napping in the afternoon. Oh, sometimes on the weekends he'll fall
asleep when he's in his room for the still-mandated quiet time, but he's never
slept at Pre-K that I'm aware of. On the other hand, it's become very common
for him to fall asleep in the car in the afternoon if we drive to anywhere
that's more than a few minutes away. To get to the mall and primary shopping
area takes about 20 minutes, as it did today, and it's almost a given that
    he'll conk out. Interestingly, now
the roles are reversed and Jeremy is the one who is awake while his brother
rests. Today, Jeremy was a little bit less gracious at first, trying to keep
Harry awake, but he eventually stopped and Harry nodded off.

The selfish positive with this loss of Harry's nap is that it's gotten us
into the habit of given the boys a bath at the same time and ultimately getting
Harry to bed a little earlier.
