January 26, 2004 - Monday
I've written a few times how amazed I am about Harry's sense of direction. Today Jeremy offered a hint that he, too, has a sense of direction. It turns out that Jeremy did not have a cold or the flu, but a ear infection and that kept him home with mommy again today. However, his fever broke last night and a doctor visit started him on antibiotics, so he was in a lot better mood than on Friday. He and mommy went for a walk outside and down the street. When they got back and were sitting in the living room, I asked him which way they walked. He immediately raised his hand and pointed in a very random direction. But then, before either his mother or I had any chance to ask him again or correct him, he thoughtfully swung his arm around until it was parallel to the street outside and pointing in the direction his mother agreed they had walked.
