September 7, 2004 - Tuesday
We got to school a little late for Jeremy's first day. Perhaps he slept in a little because he didn't have any nap yesterday. The upshot was that he didn't have any time to play with Harry in the morning before heading upstairs with the preschool class (Harry now stays downstairs with the Pre-K class), but it didn't seem to matter, at least not to Jeremy (Harry was a little sad about it). Jeremy apparently had a wonderful day playing with the fire fighter hats and other toys in the loft.He's clearly been looking forward to this day for a while now. Interestingtly, last week he had talked with Harry about napping at school in a way that suggested he was looking forward to even that. However, last night when I told him Mary would come get him and he would nap at her house he seemed happy with that, too.
