December 2, 2005 - Friday
Some days I feel like I do pretty well as a father. Days like today, however, are not among them. Today was one of those days when it just seemed like the kids were getting under my skin, particularly Harry, who was fooling around in the morning and almost missed the bus. I find myself raising my voice and being "bossy" and that always seems like a failure of sorts. Worst of all is when, as was the case this afternoon, I overhear Harry talking to Jeremy in the same tone of voice I used with him earlier.
