November 26, 2005 - Saturday
Late yesterday afternoon we went down to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ben's house for a sleep over. Their mother and I had a morning wedding to go to that was an hour driving distance past Lisa and Ben's house and while the boys know Greg and Jessica (the happy couple) and would have been welcome, we figured we would probably enjoy the event more if we weren't focusing on the boys the whole time. So stayed with Chloe, Andre, and Aunt Lisa for the early part of the day. The sleep over was apparently Chloe's first and she was very excited, as were the boys, and we heard them, particularly Chloe and a little of Jeremy, singing songs until past 9:30. Harry, it seemed, fell asleep much sooner. It all went very well until about 3am when Jeremy had a minor accident in his sleeping bag. He ended spending the rest of the night in our bed, but that was really all right. Unlike most kids, Jeremy doesn't wiggle or roll around very much and after he got over the disappointment and crying about the accident (I do think he was very upset, although it's not clear to me whether that was not being able to stay in his sleeping bag, being embarrassed, or something else), he fell right to sleep.
